A couple of days after Grammy Schieber went home to Kansas, Mimi Walsh came to Chicago. Owen has been lucky to have so much fun company lately!!! A highlight of her trip included a trip with Mike to the zoo while I was working and a fun afternoon at Old Orchard. We didn't take many pictures but here are a few of her and Owen reading books. I know she took quite a few good ones... please e-mail those when you get a chance!
The weather here has not been too terrific. The last couple of weeks have seen rain almost everyday. I am hoping this week will be better! We have spent a lot of time in the house...

Here are the chefs making ice cream (the ice cream maker attachment for the kitchenaid is the best ever!!!) They made strawberry chocolate chip and it was so delicious!
Owen has been spending lots of time in the bathtub "swimming." Don't you love his bubble hat?!
Grandpa Schieber, Uncle Norb, and Uncle Syl built Owen this little table for his 2nd birthday. It is beautiful! Thank you so much, Grandpa! He has been having lots of fun using it for his train and coloring. We'll have to go pick up a little chair at the Land of Nod outlet soon! Hopefully we'll be less busy this week and make it out there :o)
