Happy Easter

This year we did lots of projects in preparation for Easter...

Ben even got in on the action!

Notice the blue and green fingers!!!

We made these Easter cards to send to some of our relatives.  Owen cut the grass and glued everything together.  We borrowed a few ideas from Papersource!
We also made napkin rings for Easter dinner at Aunt Rose's.  Owen cut some of his finger painted artwork with "fancy scissors" and glued it on to paper towel rolls.  Then he stamped some Easter stamps on construction paper.  I cut out those shapes for him and he glued them on.  When we got to Aunt Rose's he got right to business and actually put the knives and forks in his napkin rings.  I wish I had gotten a picture of the table.  He was very proud of the great job he did!

 Benjamin Bunny
The Easter Bunny brought these for the boys' baskets...
If you are interested, you can find the pattern here

I bet the Easter Bunny had a lot of fun making those :o)

Looks like they were a hit!

Checking out the haul!
Cheesy smile on the way to Mass
Don't they look handsome?!

Ben did NOT want to shake this guy's hand!!!
If only we'd have asked someone to take a family picture of all of us together!
Checking things out...
Owen, patiently waiting next to the Easter Egg Comissioner!
Owen ran into a "friend" from preschool and t-ball!  They totally dominated the 1-4 year old egg hunt!
